Winona State University will hold the official kick-off for the 2012-13 University Theme, “Well-Connected: Piecing Together A Well You,” on Friday, Sept. 14.

The kick-off will open with an address from WSU President Scott R. Olson from 10:30-11 a.m. in the courtyard outside Kryzsko Commons. A free community Wellness Fair with informational tables and activities will follow from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Integrated Wellness Complex, 175 W. Mark St. The fair, co-sponsored by Live Well Winona, will highlight local resources available to help positively impact wellness.

This year’s university theme focuses on the seven dimensions of the Wellness Wheel: Emotional, Environmental, Intellectual, Occupational, Physical, Social, and Spiritual. The theme will be represented in campus and community events throughout the year.

Events are free and open to the public.
