darkWinona State University’s Department of Nursing will host a screening of “Dark Side of the Full Moon” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in the Science Laboratory Center room 120.

“Dark Side of the Full Moon” is a feature length documentary about maternal mental health. Each year, 1.3 million women in the U.S. struggle to find support and treatment for postpartum depression and other perinatal mood disorders.

The documentary will be followed by a panel discussion with those who have firsthand experience with the mental health of motherhood.

This event is co-sponsored by Winona Health and Hiawatha Valley Mental Health and is free and open to the public.
