Winona State University will host the return of the one-man play “Marx in Soho” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 13. in the Harriet Johnson Auditorium, in Somsen Hall.
Written by historian Howard Zinn, the play focuses on introducing Karl Marx’s life, views and desires for profound change. This performance is known to be lively, educational and filled with humor centered on Marx’s ideas and how they can still be used today.
Actor Bob Weick has been performing the role of Karl Marx for over ten years while touring across the country. The show has been favored in theatres and college campuses for its engaging content.
This event is free to attend for any students, faculty and is open to the public.
This production is sponsored by the WSU departments of History, Philosophy, Sociology /Criminal Justice and Geography, along with support from the CLA Dean’s Innovation Fund.
