The Winona State University Department of Mathematics and Statistics will host the 5th annual Midwest Undergraduate Data Analytics Competition (MUDAC) Saturday and Sunday, April 2-3, on the Winona State campus.
This competition is one of the largest events in the country dedicated to undergraduates who will enter a profession involving data analytics. Participants of MUDAC 2016 have 24 hours to provide a solution to an analytics problem. About 20 different universities from the Midwest will be represented at MUDAC 2016. The challenge will be sponsored by Mayo Medical Laboratories.
WSU teams have won this competition in the past. Many WSU alumni return to Winona State University to assist with the event.
