The Winona State University Paul Watkins Art Gallery will host “Re-veiled,” an exhibition featuring work by emerging artists Andrew Musil, Cassandra Bush and Renee Springer, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 2.
A panel discussion with the artists will be held at 5 p.m. Sept. 2 in Stark 103.
The exhibition will include paintings, Van Dyke prints, video projections and works on paper. The artists all play with the idea of veiling, from layers of color applied on top of each other to contemporary variations of the famous Shroud of Turin and the idea of unveiling problematic standards of consumption in our society.
