Winona State University will host a community meeting from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 18, in the Student Activities Center, lower level Kryzsko Commons. (View campus map.)

The meeting will open with an introduction by WSU President Scott R. Olson. WSU representatives will provide brief updates on community engagement and major projects, including the Pedestrian Tunnels Project, the Laird Norton Center for Arts and Design, and the Education Village. There will be opportunities for questions.

The meeting also will include a public forum in which community members will be asked to share input on the campus master planning process. Winona State updates its master plan every five years. This public session marks the beginning of the current master planning cycle. More information is available online at http://www.winona.edu/facilities/Master-Plan.asp.

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. In addition, attendees of the meeting will be entered into a drawing for prizes, including a gift certificate for WSU’s new climbing facility.
