Winona State University will participate in the 10th annual Spruce Up Winona celebration from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 18.
Spruce Up Winona is held each spring and provides the opportunity for WSU students to volunteer and engage with the Winona community, assisting residents with spring cleaning, painting, yard work and more. Students from Saint Mary’s University and University of Wisconsin-La Crosse will also participate in this event.
Spruce Up Winona began in April 2006 with the inauguration of WSU’s 14th president, Judith Ramaley. It has become an annual event that celebrates giving back to the community and WSU’s mission of improving our world. More than 70 percent of WSU students perform community service, with over one million volunteer hours recorded over the past six years.

Hello,
I am working with the WSU Environmental Club to get a group together to participate in Spruce Up Winona. What do we need to do to register/get an area to clean up?
Thanks,
