Winona State University, in conjunction with The Frozen River Film Festival, will present the Recycled Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in the Lourdes Hall dining room.
This evening of ballroom dance will feature live music of the 1930’s and 1940’s provided by the WSU Jazz Ensemble. Free dance lessons taught by Stan and Molly Breitlow will be available from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by open dancing.
In keeping with this year’s University Theme of Sustainable Futures, attendees are encouraged to wear “recycled clothing” and enter the fashion show to compete for prizes.
This event is free and open to the public.
Additional sponsors for the event include the WSU Residence Hall Association and Ballroom Dance Club.
