Winona State University Health and Wellness Services will offer information on stress, body composition and sexual behavior during the week of Jan. 26.

The Health and Wellness Student Advocates will host the Healthy Monday event “Tackling Mt. Stressmore” at 7 p.m. Jan. 26 in IWC Room 138. The event will include information on stressors, tips on how to manage stress, and practical ways to reduce stress.

The Exercise Science Club will host the Fitstop Tuesday event “Body Composition” from 11 a.m. to noon Jan. 27 near the entrance to the Fitness Center in the Integrated Wellness Complex. This interactive resource table will include hand-held bioelectrical impedance analysis

The Sexual Health Awareness Group (SHAG) will host the Wellness Wednesday event “The Naked Truth” at 3 p.m. Jan. 28 in IWC Room 138. The workshop is presented by peer educators to educate students about sexual behavior and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Health promotion programming aims to increase awareness, knowledge and skills to sustain a healthy lifestyle. These programs are designed to challenge and provide personal growth and development for all Winona State University students. Event sponsors include Health & Wellness Services, The RE Initiative, and on Facebook, Student Health & Wellness Advocates, HERS Practicum, Counseling & Wellness Services, Semcac Clinic, Public Health Club, SHAG, FAN Club, Outdoor Recreation Education Center and Fitness & Wellness Services.
