The Winona State University Chinese Society will host a Chinese Moon Festival from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, in the Harriet Johnson Auditorium, Somsen Hall.
The Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is one of the most important holidays in the Chinese calendar and is celebrated by Chinese all around the world. The event will include performances with singing, dancing and drama. There will also be games, a traditional dinner and Moon Cakes.
Tickets are $10 for adults. Children ages 12 and under are free. Tickets are on sale in the lower and upper hyphens of Kryzsko Commons or can be purchased at the door.
