Fit StopWinona State University Health, Counseling and Wellness Services will present the following events the week of Oct. 13-17 in the Integrated Wellness Complex, room 138.

Healthy Mondays “Meatless Monday” will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in the Well (IWC 138). Join FAN Club to explore simple ways to increase your fruit and vegetable intake, cut out meat and enjoy the benefits of improved health.

Fit Stop will present “Alcohol and Exercise” 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 14, near the entrance to the Fitness Center in the IWC. Stop by to learn about safe party tips, alcohol drink tips and more from WSU Student Health and Wellness Advocates.

Wellness Wednesdays will present “Alcohol Double Dare” at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in The Well (IWC 138). The event will help students test their knowledge of alcohol while engaging them in fun, fast-paced physical challenges and simulating physical impairment from alcohol consumption. The graduate assistant for Health Promotion –Alcohol and Other Drugs will present the event.

Health promotion programming aims to increase awareness, knowledge and skills to sustain a healthy lifestyle. These programs are designed to challenge and provide personal growth and development for all Winona State University students.
