Get Yourself Tested Awareness Week Winona State University Health, Counseling and Wellness Services will present the following events during “Get Yourself Tested (GYT)” Awareness Week April 7-11 in the Integrated Wellness Complex, room 138.

Fit Stop will present “Safe Sex Kits ” at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8. The event is presented by WSU Health and Wellness Services Advocates and Sexual Health Awareness Group.

Wellness Wednesdays will present “Bedpost Confessions” with WSU Health Promotion graduate assistant Shawnessy Mohawk at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. Join in for an afternoon discussion about sex, sexuality and the steamy side of life that includes humor, wit and thought-provoking wisdom.

At 7 p.m. April 9, the Student Activities Center will host Bedsider and Pure Romance by Kathreen Smith for “Sexy Trivia Night.” How savvy are you when it comes to sex? Join us for an evening of sexual health trivia where we ask you about contraception, STI’s and even your favorite sexy lines from movies.

There will be a condom egg hunt from April 10-11 in the WSU Courtyard and Kryzsko Commons. Be on the lookout for “eggs” filled with condoms, facts and resources. The event is presented by WSU Communication Studies’ Persuasion and Advocacy students.

STI testing will be available by appointment in Health and Wellness Services in the IWC, room 222, 507-457-5160 and the Semcac Clinic, 76 West 3rd Street, 507-452-4307.
