Winona State University professor emerita Carol Jefferson will give a talk, “Journey to the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands,” at 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, at the Winona County History Center.
Jefferson, an ecologist, will talk about her two-week trip in December with a small group of scientists to look at the evidence of Antarctic wildlife and ecosystems affected by the ozone hole.
This event is open to members of the Winona Learning Club.
