The Winona State University Women’s and Gender Studies program will partner with SEED Performance Art to present Blank Page at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, through Friday, March 7, at the Tau Center Rotunda, West Campus.
The performance will examine date rape through a series of spoken word and dance pieces presenting stories from members of the Winona and Winona State communities. Through artistic devices, SEED hopes to continue the conversations of sexually based violence vs. consensual sexual participation.
SEED is an independent Performance Art company based out of Winona. The name was inspired by the idea of planting words, images, thoughts and conversations into our community through artistic devices and hoping they will grow.
This event is open to the public, and tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students with a student ID. Tickets are available on www.seedperformanceart.com.
