Winona State University will host the Minnesota Beethoven Festival performance of pianist Garrick Ohlsson at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, in Harriet Johnson Auditorium in Somsen Hall.
Ohlsson enjoys worldwide renown as one of the finest pianists of his generation. He commands an enormous repertoire, which ranges over the entire piano literature, and is regarded as one of the world’s leading exponents of the music of Frédéric Chopin.
This program will feature pieces by Beethoven, Schubert, Griffes and Chopin.
The cost of admission is $25 for the general public and $21 for students and senior citizens.
