Warrior Way Day

Winona State University will host Warrior Way Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, on the Winona campus.

The event invites applied and admitted students and their families to explore what it means to be a Warrior. Visitors can learn more about academic programs, meet faculty, tour campus and residence halls, and connect with current students who will share their experiences of campus life. Wazoo, the Winona State mascot, will also be on hand for photos and to welcome guests.

Warrior Way Day gives families an inside look at one of the most affordable public university options in the region. Winona State is ranked the No. 1 Public University in Minnesota by U.S. News & World Report and reports a 97% rate of graduates employed or pursuing advanced degrees within one year.

“Families want confidence that college is both accessible and worth the investment,” said Tania Staley, Director of Admissions. “Warrior Way Day shows them exactly that: Winona State offers strong academics, real‑world opportunities, and a supportive community that helps students succeed.”

As one of the region’s top public universities, Winona State provides a wide range of academic programs, hands‑on learning experiences, and student support services designed to help students build a strong foundation for their future.

Registration for Warrior Way Day is open through Feb. 17 at https://wsu.mn/visitwsu.
