The Winona State University Department of Music will hold the annual Jazz Holiday Dance from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Westfield Golf Club, 1460 W. Fifth St.
This year’s dance will feature two WSU jazz ensembles performing big band dance music of the 1930s and 1940s by classic bandleaders like Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie and Woody Herman.
Westfield Golf Club will also hold a fish fry from 5-8 p.m. For reservations to the fish fry dinner, call 507-452-8700.
The dance is free and open to the public, but donations are encouraged to benefit WSU Friends of Jazz, which helps fund jazz activities on campus.
