As members of the greater educational community, we at Winona State feel the impact of the tragic events that took place Dec. 14 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. Education is at the heart of our mission. Among us are employees, students and alumni who work in schools and teach in classrooms each day. I encourage you to turn to each other for support and to keep those who are grieving in your thoughts.
