In recent weeks I have solicited and received more than 1,000 different hopes and dreams for the future of Winona State University, ranging from large scale to small, and encompassing nearly every aspect of WSU, including our students, our campus climate, our facilities, our technology, our outreach to the community, our partnerships with business and industry, and our image. These hopes and dreams make several things clear: folks remain deeply passionate about WSU, wholly committed to its future, and dedicated to being part of the conversation about where we should go next. Today we will lay the foundation for the next 150 years of Winona State University, which will continue to embody excellence for generations to come.
