Winona State University’s Film Studies students will be hosting Digital Humanities: A Film Series, Oct. 27-31, in Stark Hall, room 103.
The film studies program is sponsoring this film series based on “Our Digital Humanity.” Movies will range from new to old and connect and build upon the University Theme.
The schedule of movies is as follows:
“Modern Times” (1936) – Directed by Charlie Chaplin 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27
“Lo and Behold” (2016) – Directed by Werner Herzog 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28
“Her” – (2013) Directed by Spike Jonze 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29
“Cyber Seniors” (2014) – Directed by Saffron Cassaday 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30
“Videodrome” (1983) – Directed by David Cronenberg 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31
This event is free and open to the public.
The series is funded the Office of Community Engagement, Departments of English and Nursing, College of Liberal Arts and the WSU Retiree Center.
