Mary M. ElliottAs part of Winona State University’s College of Business 2016-2017 speaker theme, “Create Your More,” the college will host guest speaker, Mary M. Elliott, from 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, in Stark Auditorium, room 103, Stark Hall.

Mary Elliott is a retired Senior Vice President, Worldwide Fidelity and Surety Claims Manager with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. Elliott has provided strategic leadership in Fidelity and Surety claims worldwide.

Elliott graduated from WSU in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree from the Paralegal Program. Elliott obtained her juris doctorate degree in 1987 from Western State University in California where she graduated cum laude.

Elliott will present “Leading, inspiring, and empowering diversity – what every senior leader knows.” Elliott gained experience by Chairing the Catalyst Steering Committee, the Women’s Development Council, and working with other executive teams at Chubb. These experiences gave Elliott the opportunity to influence Chubb on the subjects of diversity and advocating for women throughout the organization.
