Winona State University and Health Force Minnesota will host Scrubs Camp on the WSU campus June 26 through July 1, offering high school students a unique opportunity to participate in hands-on learning.
Scrubs Camp provides students with the opportunity to explore college and careers in the health sciences, including nursing, respiratory medicine, pharmacy, clinical laboratory sciences, veterinary medicine and more.
For the second year in a row, the WSU Foundation has been awarded a grant on behalf of HealthForce Minnesota’s Scrubs Camps from Regenerative Minnesota. This grant will help continue to fund the efforts of Scrubs Camp.
Scrubs Camps will be offered throughout the summer all over Minnesota for middle and high school students. Summer 2015 hosted over 450 students at camps, and summer 2016 is projected to host over 850 students.
Information about other Scrubs Camps in Minnesota can be found on the Healthforce Minnesota website.
