The Winona State University Department of Music will host a variety of performances throughout the month of April. Here is the list of upcoming events.
- Winona Oratorio Chorus at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 3 at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
- Jazz Combos featuring music from the be-bop era to the present at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 4 in Kryzsko Commons, Smaug Stage.
- Music Education Workshop featuring Clinician Leigh Ann Garner at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9 in the Performing Arts Center.
- Percussion Ensemble featuring guest percussionist Shai Hayo at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10 in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.
- String Ensemble featuring a string quartet by Jean Baptiste Bréval at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.
- Student Recital featuring Jennifer Pierce and Emily Maire at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17 in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.
- Student Recital featuring Ryan Howe at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 17 in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.
- Chamber Ensembles at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.
- Department of Music Gala Weekend Friday, April 22-26 in the Performing Arts Center.
