Winona State University will host Lee Mueller from Davey Resource Group to discuss WSU’s tree inventory at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 in the Performing Arts Center, Recital Hall.
Mueller will discuss the process and findings of the first tree inventory that was recently completed for WSU, along with how the inventory will help WSU with future tree management. There will also be discussion of the benefits of trees, along with the estimated value provided by WSU’s trees including dollar savings in heating and cooling resulting from the canopies of trees.
Arboretum committee members will also discuss visions, missions, and goals for the arboretum.
This event is free and open to the public.
