Winona State University’s Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies Department will host Shannon Murray in concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Harriet Johnson Auditorium, Somsen Hall.
Murray is a folk and punk musician from northern Minnesota and is a member of the Riot Folk! Collective.
Opening acts will include a student open mic and Jen Zemke, assistant professor of chemistry, on acoustic guitar.
Open mic is sponsored by Fighting for Our Rights and Gender Equality (FORGE).
