Winona State University will hold the annual “Empty Bowls” fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in the Science Laboratory Center Atrium.
Attendees will receive a bowl handcrafted by WSU ceramic students and local potters, and have it filled with soup donated by local restaurants.
All proceeds directly benefit the Winona Food Shelf. The cost is $10 for students and $15 for the public.
The event is sponsored by the WSU Art and Design Department ceramics classes and the WSU student Mud Club.
