Nap Center

April Fools! Sorry to disappoint, but WSU has no plans to construct an on-campus sleep station. Thanks for being good sports!

WSU has announced plans to build the Nap Center, a state-of-the-art napping room sleep station, in Somsen Hall.

The room will be designed with multiple beds and sleepy-time remedies, including hot tea, soothing sounds, eye masks, and free ear plugs. The beds will be king-size to give even the most restless sleepers space to get comfortable, and piled high with plush pillows and cozy comforters. Stuffed animals–from teddy bears to Pillow Pets–are also provided, but students are welcome to bring their own.

Construction teams will begin working this summer, with hopes to open the Nap Center by next fall.
