Winona State University will host the Second Annual International Connections: Fall Food and Language Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the New Center West Conference Room.
The fair is designed to help international and domestic students come together and learn about one another. The event will include traditional meals from the international students’ home countries, traditional and modern talent showcases, and conversations with people from around the world.
Food samples will include Chinese egg rolls, kebabs from the Middle East, empanadas from South America, pa jun from South Korea, and naan from India.
The event is free and open to all students and employees.
The event is part of the 2014 International Education Week at WSU and is sponsored by the International Club, International Services, Cultural Outreach Office, and John Otis from Residence Life.
