nutrition Winona State University Health, Counseling and Wellness Services will present the following events the week of Oct. 20-24 in the Integrated Wellness Complex, room 138.

Healthy Mondays “Alcohol Facts on Tap” will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, in the Well (IWC 138). Join WSU Student Health and Wellness Advocates for clear and easy ways to get questions answered about alcohol and the body, dealing with friends and roommates drinking and more.

Fit Stop will present “Fitness Nutrition” 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 21, near the entrance to the Fitness Center in the IWC. Stop by to learn more about nutrition resources, samples and tips from WSU Student Health and Wellness Advocates and the FAN Club.

Wellness Wednesdays will present “Words Matter” at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, in The Well (IWC 138). Join the RE Initiative PACTivists for an hour of learning about how sexist and homophobic words can be violent and why students should challenge words like this and gain respect for themselves and others.

Health promotion programming aims to increase awareness, knowledge and skills to sustain a healthy lifestyle. These programs are designed to challenge and provide personal growth and development for all Winona State University students.
