Winona State University will hold the annual “Empty Bowls” fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in the Science Laboratory Center Atrium.
Bowls are made by WSU ceramics students and local potters. Local restaurants donate soup and bread. In exchange for a donation to the Winona Food Shelf, participants receive a hand-crafted bowl and have it filled with soup.
All proceeds directly benefit the Winona Food Shelf. The cost is $10 for students and $15 for public.
This event is sponsored by the WSU Art Department, ceramics classes and student Mud club.
