Winona State University received a 2013 Gold Winner certificate in the Education Digital Marketing Awards for New Media Content: Prospective & Accepted Student Conversion Campaign.

Winona State submitted a series of recruiting messages, email templates and website landing pages and was judged among four-year institutions with enrollment of 5,000-9,999 students. Winona State was recognized for developing quality recruiting materials that accurately reflect the WSU community along with its values to prospective students and their families. The materials are part of an overall effort to recruit students who will thrive and succeed at Winona State.

The WSU Marketing and Communications Office and Vendi Advertising in La Crosse, Wis., created and developed the pieces as part of the university’s “Purple is the New You” campaign.

This is the second Gold Winner Award for WSU from the Higher Education Marketing Report.
