Winona State University’s chemistry and health, exercise and rehabilitative sciences departments will hold “Antioxidants: Just Juice It!” from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the main hallway of the Integrated Wellness Complex.
The event will emphasize education about antioxidants, which help rid the body of free radical molecules and oxidative stress. Participants will learn how to incorporate antioxidants into their diet and have the opportunity to sample healthy juice smoothies. They can also test their knowledge of antioxidant molecules for a chance to win a new blender.
The event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the WSU Foundation and the Learning and Engaged Scholarship Committee.
