Winona State University Health and Wellness Services and Semcac Clinic will offer free health insurance education and open enrollment sessions to college students.
Residents of Minnesota are invited to ask questions, create MNsure accounts, submit applications or even enroll in a program. No appointment is required, and MNsure enrollment specialists will be on hand to assist.
Residents of Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, North Dakota and South Dakota can visit the online health insurance exchange, Healthcare.gov, to find local application assistance. Health and Wellness Services will also have an Insurance Coordinator available to answer any questions.
Enrollment sessions will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 31, Feb. 14, 28 and March 7, at Semcac Clinic, 76 W. Third St., and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 and 20, at WSU Health and Wellness Services. Open enrollment is available through March 31.
