The Winona State University Music Department will host Minnesota Festival Brass 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 in the Performing Arts Center Main Stage.
Minnesota Festival Brass is a 21-member ensemble that features professional percussion and brass musicians from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Their performance will include music for large brass and percussion ensembles, including sacred music and symphonies.
Musicians in the ensemble have performed with various other ensembles including the Minnesota Orchestra, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and Minnesota Opera. Many are faculty members at universities in the Minnesota and Wisconsin area.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students with IDs.
