The Winona State University Physics Department will hold its first physics seminar speaker of the semester at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, in Pasteur Hall, room 129.
Senior physics major Michael Olheiser will talk about his experience with the Summer of Applied Geophysical Experience (SAGE) program at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. SAGE is a geophysics field camp designed to introduce students to hands-on exploration and field research methods.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
