Winona State University will host author Katrina Vandenberg as a part of the John S. Lucas Great River Reading Series Thursday, Oct. 10.
Vandenberg will read from her new book of poems, The Alphabet Not Unlike the World, at 4:30 p.m. in Stark 103. She will also speak to James Armstrong’s poetry class at 12:30 p.m. in Minne 350.
Vandenberg is the author of Atlas and co-author of On Marriage. Her poetry has appeared in The Southern Review, The American Scholar, Poets and Writers, and other magazines. She currently teaches The Creative Writing Programs at Hamline University in St. Paul.
All class sessions and readings are open to the public.
