Nothing To Do This Summer?
There’s still time to register for the 26th annual College For Kids July 8-12 and 15-19 on the Winona campus. Register by June 17 to guarantee your spot.
College For Kids courses feature local experts teaching students in grade school and middle school about everything from writing to math and science to foreign languages to the arts. Students taking “Discover! Create! Invent!” will take common everyday objects and create new uses. In “Discovering DNA,” students will learn all about how DNA works, and build their own DNA strands, compare heredity traits and extract DNA.
The cost to attend a one-week session is $120. The cost to attend both weeklong sessions is $235. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available.
