The Winona State University Faculty Research Series hosted a brown bag discussion, “Citizen-Sourcing and Reframing Environmental Discourse: An Analysis of Frances Moore Lappé ‘s ‘EcoMind,’” April 3.
Professor Emilie Falc provided an analysis of the environmental rhetoric in the book “EcoMind.” The book describes a necessary paradigm shift in how relationships to the world are constructed through envisioning and acting on interconnectedness with one another and nature. It also discusses how people participate in the world as citizens.
The discussion was part of the celebration of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program’s 20th anniversary.
