Winona State University will hold “The Empty Bowls” fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, in the Science Laboratory Center Atrium.
The bowls are made by WSU ceramics students and local potters. Local restaurants donate soup and bread. Participants choose a bowl to keep and have it filled with soup.
Cost is $10 for students, $15 for the public. All proceeds benefit the Winona Food Shelf.
This event is sponsored by the WSU Art Department, ceramics classes and Watkins Gallery.
