Winona State University seeks local families to host visiting students from Norway in their homes.
Twenty-nine students from Borgund Folk School in Ålesund, Norway will visit Winona and WSU for three days to experience life as a student at a university and gain insight into home life in the U.S.
About 14 families are needed, with each family hosting two to three students the evenings of Feb. 26-27. During the day, the Norwegian students will shadow WSU students and participate in other local activities. Host families are welcome to invite the students to participate in their plans as well.
