The Winona State University Athenaeum Series will present “The Flipped WSU Classroom” at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, on the second floor of the Darrell W. Krueger Library.

Presenters Amy Hermodson, associate professor of communication studies, and Chad Kjorlien, faculty development coordinator for Teaching, Learning, & Technology Services, will use the flipped instructional strategy for this Athenaeum session. A video presentation will be sent out as an introduction to the experience.

To receive the video prior to the session and to help the presenters design activities for the presentation, RSVP online at the Athenaeum website or contact the presenters.

All WSU Athenaeum Series events are free and open to the public.

The Athenaeum hosts events that explore and enhance the intellectual life of the University and the region through lectures, readings, performances, discussions and other events. By bringing together scholars, performers, students and community members for intellectual discussion and the sharing of cultural experiences, the Athenaeum reflects the importance the University places on the humanities, the arts and the sciences.
