Winona State University senior Michael Glowczewski, from Winona, Minn., has been awarded a scholarship from the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program.
The scholarship includes $3,500 for Glowczewski’s spring 2013 study abroad program in Spain.
Recipients of the award are chosen by a competitive selection process and must use the award for eligible study abroad costs. These costs include tuition, room and board, textbook expenses, and international airfare.
The program selects students from a diverse range of public and private institutions from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
Glowczewski is majoring in Communications and Spanish.
