The Winona State University Department of Theatre and Dance will hold auditions for Sally Netzel’s “Straw Into Gold: The Classic Tale of Rumpelstiltskin” 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, Jan. 15-16, in the Performing Arts Center, Main Stage.
Auditions are open to all registered students, regardless of major or minor. Participants are asked to bring spring 2013 schedule conflicts. Theatre majors are expected to prepare a short children’s audition piece. Non-majors do not need to prepare a piece. A script is available on reserve in the library.
Performances for “Straw Into Gold: The Classic Tale of Rumpelstiltskin” are April 2-6. Vivian Fusillo will direct.
