Winona State University will welcome global entertainment icon JoJo Siwa for “An Evening with JoJo Siwa” at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, in Harriet Johnson Auditorium, Somsen Hall. The event is presented by the Warrior Entertainment Network and will feature an interactive Q&A format.

Siwa is a multiplatinum recording artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who has built one of the most influential brands in entertainment. Named to TIME’s “100 Most Influential People” list in 2020, she has amassed nearly 70 million followers across social media and continues to inspire audiences worldwide. Her career spans music, television, and film, including appearances on “Dance Moms,” “Dancing With the Stars” — where she made history as the first contestant to dance with a same-sex partner — and “So You Think You Can Dance.” She has also executive produced Emmy-nominated projects and launched successful merchandise lines.

In recent years, Siwa has expanded her music career with hit singles like “Karma,” which has garnered over 60 million streams globally, and her 2024 EP “Guilty Pleasure.” She has performed at major Pride festivals and completed her international “Infinity Heart Tour” in the UK in 2025. Beyond entertainment, Siwa actively supports charitable causes and serves on the board of Dancers Against Cancer.
