As a university known for its affordability, quality education, and projected alumni salary, Winona State has been named the No. 1 Best Value College in Minnesota for 2024-2025 by Research.com.
The ranking includes more than 1,700 institutions that were selected from a group of 6,000. The ranking used more than 400 different metrics that came from credible sources — such as IPEDS and College Scorecard — to conclude its results.
According to research.com, 99% of new entering freshman at Winona State University receive some form of financial aid. The site also reports a median salary of $47,975 for Winona State graduates within a year after graduation.
Winona State was also ranked #1 in Minnesota in 17 other areas of study, including education, visual and performing arts, math and statistics, health professions and related programs, as well as computer and information sciences and support services.
