Winona State University will host a public forum, “Clean Energy, Climate, and Health,” with polar explorer Will Steger and Fresh Energy’s J. Drake Hamilton at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in Stark Hall, room 103.

Minnesota is on a clean energy path that is bringing benefits to human health and our air, water and natural resources. Steger, Minnesota’s own eyewitness to climate change, will present his vivid firsthand account with stunning photographs from his expeditions. Hamilton, science policy director at Fresh Energy, will describe effective clean energy and clean air solutions that benefit our economy.

This event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Department of Geoscience, the Will Steger Foundation and Fresh Energy.
