By now many of you have heard that the National Child Protection Training Center (NCPTC) has formed a strategic affiliation with Gundersen Lutheran Health System based in La Crosse, Wis.
This new affiliation will provide the NCPTC with steady financial support to accomplish its mission of eliminating child abuse in three generations.
This is a win-win scenario for NCPTC and WSU. We will continue our close connection to the center because the headquarters will still be located on the WSU campus. Our students and Child Advocacy Studies Training program will continue to have access to this important learning environment and Winona State will continue improving the world for children.
