clinicalstudyThe Winona State University Biology Department seeks participants for a clinical study on the health benefits of cranberry juice on Oct. 13-22.

Study participants will receive $100 along with free blood glucose and cholesterol values after the study is complete. Participants selected for the study will attend two 90-minute campus laboratory sessions (approximately 6 to 8:30 a.m.), during which a phlebotomist will draw several samples of blood.

Study participation is open to the general public but limited to overweight individuals who are not taking any blood lipid lowering medication, insulin or medication to control blood glucose. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10.
