Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n
As many of you are now aware, our Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Patricia Rogers, has been appointed by the Minnesota State Board of Trustees as the next President of Lake Superior College in Duluth. Dr. Rogers\u2019 many achievements here at WSU have set the stage for this next chapter in her life. LSC is a healthy institution in a vibrant place, and she will make an excellent leader there \u2014 it is a great fit for all concerned!<\/p>\n
We will soon be announcing a process for identifying an Interim Provost, and then we will begin a search for a new permanent Provost.<\/p>\n
By my count, Dr. Rogers will be the sixth President to have \u201cgraduated\u201d from WSU, and as such, there\u2019s a phrase I say at every Winona State Commencement that comes to mind: \u201cWe are proud of her accomplishments, and the accomplishments of all our graduates\u201d! Please join me in congratulating her on this well-deserved recognition.<\/p>\n
