Winona State University’s Recovery Warriors will host Roger Hoover and Western Reserve in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 in the Student Activity Center, lower level of Kryzsko Commons.
Roger Hoover is a Southern-born, Ohio-raised singer songwriter. Hoover’s songs are timeless laments and rambles of a guitarist and banjo player who performs with equal parts impassioned vocals and honest, heartfelt lyricism.
WSU Recovery Warriors is a support group for students in recovery. The concert is the latest in a series of Sober Saturday Nite events offering activities for those who choose not to drink or use drugs.
Admission is free and open to the public.
